The Cricket World Cup is in full swing now, and we were lucky enough to have the ICC Cricket World Cup come and pay a visit outside of our offices on Frith Street on Thursday 16th May.
The street was transformed from 2 till 5 into a cricket pitch as LGBT cricketers came along to play. Members of the public were then encouraged to get involved in a game of cricket on the street.
The event aimed to raise awareness of the fact that anyone can play cricket, and you don’t need a large field to do so. It’s possible even on a busy street in the centre of Soho!
Everyone at Tapestry loved getting involved on the day, and luckily the balls were wrapped so there were no broken windows. We definitely had the best seats in the house looking out onto the pitch from the office.
