Sir Elton John x Marmite

Glastonbury came to a close with an iconic performance from the legendary Sir Elton John! Delivering hit after hit and after 52 years of performing, he announced his headlining performance on the Pyramid Stage yesterday evening would be his final UK performance.

Sir Elton John, being a Marmite lover, has previously collaborated with them to create a limited-edition ‘Rocketman’ jar sold exclusively at Sainsbury’s, for which 50p per item sold was donated to the Elton John Aids Foundation to support its mission to end AIDS by 2030.

To honour his final UK performance at Glastonbury, they went on to create the limited-edition, hand-crafted Marmite Pyramid! Only four collectable jars have been made – one for Sir Elton John, two for Marmite & Glastonbury’s archives, and one to be auctioned on Ebay UK with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the same charity! The exclusive Marmite Pyramid jars pay tribute to Elton’s incredible career which coincided with his final farewell performance on the Pyramid stage last night! So far, the jar up for auction has raised over £7K, with bidding due to end this Thursday at 19:00!
