Chelsea Football Club: The Pride of London

 

The 2023/24 Premier League is the fifth season Tapestry have supported Chelsea Football Club as an external production agency. Our suite of services is tuned to support the club’s in-house Creative Studios, acting as an extension of their team. Through expert photography, we assist with shoot productions from Nike kit launches to branded product merchandising. With meticulous retouching, we refine images to perfection, maintaining a consistent visual standard reflective of the Chelsea FC brand. Our creative artworking brings the Creative Studios’ innovative designs to market, adapting and fulfilling campaigns and executions across digital, print and social, delivering high-quality material that resonates with fans worldwide. Together, these services position Tapestry as a key partner of Chelsea Football Club’s production operations.

 

Stadium & Museum Tours

At Stamford Bridge, the club offers fans the opportunity to go behind the scenes to experience the stadium’s glory first-hand, followed by exploring the history of CFC and their collection of trophies inside London’s biggest football museum! An award-winning tour, it allows guests to walk in the footsteps of the teams’ legends, including a walk through the player’s tunnel, and to sit in the seats of their favourite idols – all whilst being accompanied by their live tour guides.

 

The club required new assets to be used on their website marcoms and shared with their partners, such as Virgin Experiences, for a new campaign promoting these tours. Wanting to showcase the diversity of its fanbase and the clientele that use and visit the grounds, Tapestry had a specific brief to aim for concerning talent. Tapestry managed the process from model casting, shoot production, retouching, and eventual artworking of assets once the Creative Studio applied its creative direction and design treatment.

Events & Hospitality

As well as Stamford Bridge being the home of the blues, it is also well known for being host to various events and guests! Last year, our teams collaborated with the events team at the club to capture a refreshed library of imagery to showcase their upgraded hospitality and event spaces for advertisement on their platforms and third-party websites. With 25 function rooms and 60 syndicate rooms, their sophisticated and slick spaces can entertain from 2 to 1000 guests for private or corporate occasions, ranging from exhibitions, dinners, award ceremonies and press conferences, making all of their spaces adaptable and versatile for all types of client and guest needs. Working with the club to showcase their hospitality spaces was a pleasure, providing our full production services, including account and project management, on-site logistics, and photographic and retouching services.

Lunar New Year x Nike

An exciting and unique campaign that we captured earlier in the year, we provided our photographic and retouching services for Nike’s x CFC’s collaboration for the Chinese New Year, celebrating the year of the Dragon! Working on location with both the men’s and women’s first teams, they wore exclusively designed pre-match training jerseys embellished with a dragon crest to commemorate the occasion. Throughout the decades, the teams have achieved great success in the years of the dragon, winning matches and leagues to gaining silverware, making the Lunar New Year a unique and commemorable occasion for the club.

US Tour

With the season drawing to a close, we’ve been assisting CFC with preparing and advertising pre-season tour fixtures. Chelsea will be in America again this summer when the men’s team visit the United States for the third year in a row for a Stateside hat-trick! The club are offering VIP match day experiences and unparalleled access to the Blues players.

 

Creative Artworking resources supported the complete asset refresh of the tour assets and the creation of key art featuring key blues from this season.
