Photography Studio Production/Assistant – Tapestry

We are looking for a production assistant to help run Tapestry’s photographic studio. The role will include handling and managing clients expectations throughout the duration of the pre, actual and post shoot. It will also include organising the shoot and making sure everything runs smoothly – this could include scheduling props and organising third party staff. There will also be opportunities and encouragement to be involved in the shoot with assisting and styling. The successful applicant will work closely with our head of photography to keep our clients happy and also with our sales team nurturing existing accounts growth.


Your key responsibility will be to maintain the daily schedule and running of our in-house studio.

These responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all shoots run smoothly (making sure we have any additional equipment needed for the shoot, as well as working with our pool of hair/makeup stylists and models).
  • Working with the sales team to coordinate shoots and meet the client’s needs.
  • Managing the daily schedule for the photographers, including holidays, sickness and cancellations.
  • Administrative duties of the photography department.
  • Communication with clients to discuss upcoming and ongoing shoots.
  • General assistance of the in-house photographers when needed.
  • Quality control of outgoing images.

Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm / Monday – Friday

Salary: £20k per annum
